Cowboy Riny

“In the heart of the Arizona dustbowl, where the cactus flowers bloom red and the rattlesnakes whisper secrets to the wind, a man rides into town like a forgotten dream. His boots are caked in mud, his beard reeks of whiskey and desperation, his hat is held on by a single rusted nail and small green booger hanging out of his nose. He’s a relic of a bygone era, a man who thinks ‘cowboy’ means ‘punchline.’ But tonight, he’s got a plan – a desperate, delusional scheme to charm the local beauty with words so cheesy they’d make a taco gag.*

*He steps into the saloon, the door swinging open with a groan that sounds like a dying man. The air is thick with tobacco smoke and the faint scent of lavender from the bartender’s perfume. And there, at the bar, sits the object of his obsession – an oriental woman so beautiful, she makes the sunrise seem dull. Her eyes gleaming like polished onyx in the dim light., there’s an ethereal quality to her presence, as if she belongs in a shoji screen rather than a rowdy saloon and her laughter is the only thing keeping this town from collapsing under its own weight.*

*But the cowboy Riny doesn’t notice any of this.*
